Game Over for TANGS & RCC
I wanted to bring back the craziness of the old school stream on Friday nights with The Game Show and Real Cool Club crew, but ultimately could not work out the logistics. I hope the viewers that have enjoyed these projects and want more episodes can understand that I have to consider many factors when choosing what gets produced, and what doesn’t. Make no mistake, I’m seriously proud of the run of glorious, high-definition shows I had the chance to produce with both crews. Look out for TRCC elsewhere in the future, and don’t think you’ve seen the last of Jim, Nikole and Gweedz in the gaming community.
I know these shows will be missed and I can’t thank the viewers enough for their support. I don’t feel either show had enough time to grow given the short time back in production after almost a year off the air, but that’s show-biz I guess. To be honest, I’m sad to these show go. Hopefully, I’ll get to work with everyone in the future, maybe even with new shows on theStream.tv. But, I sure will miss all the cool photo-chop-shops you guys sent in, as well as my weekend editing sessions cutting The Game Show. Please continue to enjoy the archives and stay tuned for surprise occasions when I can get any of them back into the studio for visits. When I have time, I’ll try and release clips that never made it onto the web from these great shows.

TRCC AND The All- New Game Show were the only shows that I watch religiously on thestream. This sucks.
Feel free to message me if you bring back TGS. I’ve had enough of your unprofessional scheduling. You don’t announce a new show/mashup of shows and then cancel them right before they are to begin.

Brian – I had to check my calendar to be sure this isn’t April Fools Day! I am crushed! I’m a new fan of TRCC and was even going to send them something for the wall.
I can’t believe it’s gone. What logistics could you not work out to keep your top two shows on the air? Is it cash? I’ll donate if it’ll save the show. I’m trying to read between the lines.
I know it’s a tough call to pick shows to produce, but come on – outside of TWN and an occasional Filmnut your offerings are not that compelling. Even SLOD is gone. No Commercial Break, FMOF or Doc Mock either.
Brian, I love you man and I’m huge supporter in every way of the stream, but please, please get these shows back on. I don’t care what night, but they must be back on.

Dude, you gotta give us a better explanation. There’s more to this story than you’re telling.
Please define “logistics” for us. What does that mean? If Lindsay and Ethan are really into doing the show, what would gum up the works? Is it money? Pressure from advertisers? Maybe if you told us the whole story, we would understand, but all we can do now is conjecture.
Also, what happened to the FMOF reboot from the summer? I’m still waiting for that show to be posted.

I was also highly disappointed when I found out both of these great shows got cancelled. These shows were absolutely my two most favorite shows on the network, and I was super excited when they were supposed to air back to back, but instead got cancelled together. I know if there was a way to keep them going, Brian would have done so. Whatever the problem is, I’m sure we won’t see the last of these guys.
I do have a pitch. Because the main reason I love these shows is the fact that Ethan, Lindsay, Jim, and Nikole all have amazing personalities, what about a new show that mashes them all up. The All New Real Cool Game Show Club. It would kind of be a hybrid of both shows’ concepts, definitely leaning more towards TRCC. For a half-an-hour, Jim, Nikole, Ethan, and Lindsay compete on playing games based on challenges people suggest from the previous episode (so they have time to set up). The matches can be everyone for themselves or 2 vs. 2. For example, Ethan/Nikole vs Jim/Lindsay in a game of beer pong. Teams will be randomly generated and viewers beforehand can submit predictions on who wins each game. The top 5 or so that makes the most correct guesses can win a token for a new xbox. Also, the last game of the night, to encourage more live interaction with the viewers, would be a table filled with random items, and it’s up to the viewers to quickly submit ideas on what the next game will be. For example, the table has items like 2 paddles, a cup, and a bag of frozen peas. Viewers are suggesting ideas like “in teams of 2, one person hits a pea from across the room with a paddle and the other person catches it with their mouth,” “well you got two girls, and you do have a cup…,” “in teams of 2, one person paddles the other, and the team that screams the most wins.” Then, while reading the chat, the gang figures our what the best idea is, or take parts of ideas and come up with something better while they talk it out. I can just imagine something like this going on: Jim, while taking a sip of beer, spits it out while he says, “SoAndSo says you got two girls, and you do have a cup.” Ethan says, “That disgusting.” Lindsay says, “I can’t really do that. That’s more of a morning thing.” Ethan says, “What about this. The guys spank the girls with the paddles. And then they can use the frozen peas on their asses later.” Nikole says, “But I haven’t done anything naughty yet!” Jim says, “But what decides who wins the game? To me, it kind of sounds like a win-win.” Lindsay says, “Wait. Why can’t the girls do the spanking. We like to get our spanking on too from time to time.” Ethan says, “Look, we only got 5 minutes left, and all these ideas are stupid, so let’s just do it. You ready Jim?” Jim says, while kind of cracking up, “Ughh… Fine, but first, we got anything stronger than beer before we do this? Also, who’s the bastard that put two paddles on the table? A cup, a bag of peas, and two paddles. Hmm…. I wonder what the viewers are gonna suggest we do with them.” Nikole says, “I’m not sure if I’m comfortable with this (while holding the paddle behind Jim).” Ethan says, “Lindsay said your boobs are too small, and if she were you, she’d get a boob job.” Lindsay says, “I would never say that. If anything, I wish mine were more like yours (while she’s looking down and kind of feeling them up, kind of deciding whether or not what she said is true, then makes a facial expression that’s like eh…)” Nikole says, “I’m so ready for this now, but I got Ethan.” Jim, while laughing and taking a shot of scotch says, “Can we get this over with? It’s not the pain I’m worried about now. It’s all the waiting!” Then, after this dumb game is over, someone monitoring chat decides from what the viewers type, which team won. The gang, while Ethan holds the bag of frozen peas on his ass and Jim rubs his, says, “Well that’s tonight’s show. Hopefully you guys can come up with more games we can fool around with. Maybe some that aren’t so painful.” Then one of the guys says, “What about revenge ideas for the girls?” Then Nikole says, “I still have my paddle, and I know how to use it!!!” –Queue the music–
This is my idea. Sorry if you hated my examples, but I was just typing as I was thinking, and hopefully I somewhat got what each person might say. I think it would be fun. It would also be a short airing, so as far as resources/money is concerned, it would be half as long of one show of TANGS or TRCC with all casts involved. Not sure if this is possible, and not sure if anyone likes it, but it’s worth a try. At least I entertained myself this evening as I fantasized about a fake show, lol.
uh i say no TheBeesKnees Ethan is to random and smart and quick for Nikole and Jim to keep up… i liked the real cool club the best since thestream came back its been the best show on there. the stuff he comes up with off the top of his head is priceless and always funny… and then Lindsay keeping up with him is just pure magic not to mention shes good lookin to boot.
