WONDER WOMAN Film Rumored To Be Set In The 1920s – AMC Movie News

While it has not been confirmed, several sites are reporting that the standalone “Wonder Woman” film may actually be a prequel set in the 1920s. The report is stating that the first half of the film will take place on Paradise Island in the Amazon. Then Diana accompanies a man back to the world of man and we discover it’s the 1920s. The unannounced standalone sequel would take place in World War II in the 1930s and 40s, while “Dawn of Justice” is set back in modern day.
