Spirits of Westeros- Tommen Collins

Welcome to Spirits of Westeros where host, Jessica Kinney, helps you combine the love of Game of Thrones with the love of alcohol.

This weeks drink is the Tommen Collins, named after Tommen Baratheon. When thinking about life from Tommen’s perspective, it can’t be that enjoyable for him.  He is the youngest incest child of Jaime and Cersei, almost force killed by Cersei during the attack at Blackwater Bay, watched his brother, Joffrey, terrorize everyone in King’s Landing, saw him die at his wedding to Margaery, Margaery is now promised to him, he is made king and then he get’s get a lecture by his now deceased grandfather at his brother’s funeral….and all before puberty!  You might want a drink just thinking about it! Here’s what you will need:

Ingredients:

2 oz Gin

1 oz Lemon Juice

1 oz Orange Juice

2 Dashes of Simple Syrup

Splash Prosecco

All of these ingredients are here for a small and sweet twist on the traditional recipe-kind of like Tommen is the small and sweet version of Joffrey

Instructions:

Shake all the non-carbonated ingredients in a shaker with ice.  Pour into a Collins glass and top with prosecco.  Garnish with an orange slice.  Enjoy.
