Blake T. Evans, DP for The Middle, Samantha Who, The District, Comic Book Villains, 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain was the guest tonight talking about the creative and technical aspects of being a cinematographer.  Among the topics covered included the difference in the role of a directer in film versus TV and the the relationship with the DP. Blake talked about shooting a scene with natural and artificial light, working with actors of very different heights, shooting fire, and shooting a horse racing scene.  Evans also answers a lot of great viewer questions, including a passionate answer to whether or not shooting on film is dead, whether or not he likes to operate the camera himself when DPing and much more great information in this power packed interview.
