Greetings and Salutations Awesome Movie Crew! In 2013, the summer was filled with action blockbusters like Man of Steel and the Wolverine. While I enjoyed these, the summer movies that stuck with me and made it to my top movies of the year were The Way Way Back and The Spectacular Now. Movies like these are not recognized enough in the summer and forgotten about by award season. Do you think that independent summer movies could ever become popular like summer blockbusters or be considered for awards come award season?
