Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. After Show Season 2 Episode 10 “What They Become”

Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. After Show Season 2 Episode 10 “What They Become”! May evades the Hydra attempt to shoot down the Bus and they land in Puerto Rico. Ward brings Skye to meet her father, who tells her that his name is Cal, that hers is Daisy, and that Whitehall killed her mother. Simmons, Fitz, and Tripp descend the shaft in hazmat suits and place World War II era mechanical bombs where they will collapse the temple. Whitehall arrives at the Hydra base in San Juan where they are drilling another shaft directly into the temple. He immobilizes Cal with a pain device, and menaces Skye, but pauses as Coulson’s team begins its assault on the base. Cal rips off the pain device and goes after Whitehall, and is devastated when Coulson kills Whitehall first. Ward frees Skye, who immediately shoots him and goes down the Hydra shaft after Raina, who is taking the Obelisk to the temple. The bomb-setters complete their work, but when Trip learns that Skye is in the temple he goes back down, deactivates the bombs, and arrives at the temple to find Skye and Raina there and the Obelisk activated, turning into a large crystal. Coulson is delayed by Mac and cannot reach them before the temple closes. A shard of the crystal breaks off and turns Tripp to stone. A black substance encases Skye and Raina and then hardens; Skye’s casing breaks off to reveal her unharmed as earth tremors threaten to collapse the city. The injured Ward leaves with Agent 33, whose brainwashing made her loyal to the late Whitehall rather than to Hydra. Somewhere, a man with no eyes receives a signal through his own Obelisk, and phones someone to say that “there’s a new one”.

Tune in each week, live or on demand, for review and conversation of Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., or Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. At the helm of the show are Joss Whedon, Jed Whedon, and Maurissa Tancharoen who teamed up with ABC to bring this Marvel Comics organization S.H.I.E.L.D. (Strategic Homeland Intervention, Enforcement and Logistics Division) to life. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Marvel Television, and Mutant Enemy and is set in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, sharing continuity with the films in the franchise. The MCU films have brought us Iron Man, Thor, Captain American, Black Widow, Hulk, Hawkeye, Winter Soldier and soon many more Marvel Comic characters to life. One thing the films have in common with the show is Agent Phil Coulson who has appeared in Iron Man, Iron Man 2, and Thor. In the series Phil Coulson, Clark Gregg, leads a small team of S.H.I.E.L.D. agents as they handle strange new cases. The stars behind this small team of agents are Ming-Na Wen, Brett Dalton, Chloe Bennet, Iain De Caestecker, Elizabeth Henstridge, and Nick Blood. In the second season, after Hydra’s infiltration of, and the destruction of, S.H.I.E.L.D., Coulson and his team look to restore trust from the government and public, while dealing with Hydra members still at large, and with Skye’s father.
