MOCKINGJAY PART 1 Opening Night Box Office – AMC Movie News

The “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1” has racked up $17 million in domestic Thursday night sales. That’s 33% less than last year’s $25.3 Thursdaynight opening of “Catching Fire” but it’s still the largest Thursday night opening this year, coming in 60% ahead of “Guardians of the Galaxy” at $11.2 million.
